Biography
Kelly Barr is a dedicated public servant, attorney, and community advocate with decades of experience in public policy, environmental law, and organizational leadership. A graduate of the University of Arizona and the University of Arizona College of Law, Kelly spent more than 30 years at Salt River Project (SRP), where her last role was Chief Strategy, Corporate Services and Sustainability Executive. She now works at Arizona State University as the Associate Vice President and Chief Alliance Officer with the Global Futures Laboratory.
Throughout her career, Kelly has worked to improve the lives of Arizonans through sustainable development and equitable health access. As a candidate for the local board, she is committed to bringing transparency, fiscal responsibility, and community-driven solutions to the forefront of local government.
Kelly and her husband, Scott McCoy, have two sons, Andy McCoy, who is married to Priyanka Mohanty, and Ryan McCoy.
